BNV : মাত্র 12 বছর বযসে রাজা হয়ে মনঃশি মোট 55 বছর জেরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করেন| তাঁর মায়ের নাম ছিল হিফ্সীবা|
KJV : Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Hephzi-bah.
YLT : A son of twelve years [is] Manasseh in his reigning, and fifty and five years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hephzi-Bah;

BNV : প্রভু য়ে সব পাপাচরণ করতে বারণ করেন মনঃশি সেসবই করেছিলেন| ইতিপূর্বে য়ে সব ভযঙ্কর পাপাচারের জন্য প্রভু বিভিন্ন জাতিকে দেশচ্য়ূত করেছিলেন, মনঃশি সেই সমস্ত পাপাচরণ করেন|
KJV : And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
YLT : and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel,
RV : And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
RSV : And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to the abominable practices of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the people of Israel.

BNV : তাঁর পিতা হিষ্কিয় য়ে সমস্ত উচ্চস্থান ভেঙে দিয়েছিলেন, মনঃশি আবার নতুন করে সেই সব বেদী নির্মাণ করেছিলেন| বাল মূর্ত্তির পূজার জন্য বেদী বানানো ছাড়াও, ইস্রায়েলের রাজা আহাবের মতই মনঃশি আশেরার খুঁটি পুঁতেছিলেন| তিনি আকাশের তারাদেরও পূজা করতেন|
KJV : For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
YLT : and he turneth and buildeth the high places that Hezekiah his father destroyed, and raiseth altars for Baal, and maketh a shrine, as did Ahab king of Israel, and boweth himself to all the host of the heavens, and serveth them.

ERVEN : Manasseh rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed. He also built altars for Baal and made an Asherah pole, just as King Ahab of Israel had done. Manasseh worshiped and served the stars of heaven.

BNV : মূর্ত্তিসমূহের প্রতি আনুগত্য দেখিয়ে তিনি প্রভুর প্রিয ও পবিত্র মন্দিরের মধ্যেও বেদী বানিয়েছিলেন| (এই সেই জায়গা যেখানে প্রভু বলেছিলেন, “আমি জেরুশালেমে আমার নাম স্থাপন করব|”)
KJV : And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
YLT : And he hath built altars in the house of Jehovah, of which Jehovah said, `In Jerusalem I put My name.`

ERVEN : He built altars {to honor false gods} in the Lord's Temple. (This is the place the Lord was talking about when he said, "I will put my name in Jerusalem.")

KJV : And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.
YLT : and he hath caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he hath multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah -- to provoke to anger.
RV : And he made his son to pass through the fire, and practised augury, and used enchantments, and dealt with them that had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
RSV : And he burned his son as an offering, and practiced soothsaying and augury, and dealt with mediums and with wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger.

ESV : And he burned his son as an offering and used fortune-telling and omens and dealt with mediums and with wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger.
ERVEN : He sacrificed his own son and burned him on the altar. He used different ways of trying to know the future. He visited mediums and wizards. Manasseh did more and more things that the Lord saw as evil, which made the Lord angry.

BNV : মনঃশি পাথর কুঁদে আশেরার একটা মূর্ত্তি বানিয়ে সেটাকে মন্দিরে বসিযেছিলেন| প্রভু দায়ূদ ও তাঁর পুত্র শলোমনকে বলেছিলেন, “সমস্ত শহরের মধ্যে থেকে আমি জেরুশালেমকে বেছে নিয়েছি| এখানকার এই মন্দিরে আমার নাম চির দিনের জন্য থাকবে|
KJV : And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
YLT : And he setteth the graven image of the shrine that he made in the house of which Jehovah said unto David and unto Solomon his son, `In this house, and in Jerusalem, that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I put My name -- to the age;

ERVEN : Manasseh made a carved statue of Asherah. He put this statue in the Temple. The Lord had said to David and to David's son Solomon about this Temple: "I have chosen Jerusalem from all the cities in Israel. I will put my name in the Temple in Jerusalem forever.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পূর্বপুরুষদের আমি য়ে ভূখণ্ড দিয়েছিলাম, ইস্রায়েলীয়রা যদি আমায় মান্য করে চলে, আমার দাস মোশির দেওয়া বিধি ও আদেশগুলো অনুসরণ করে, তাহলে সেই ভূখণ্ড থেকে আমি কখনও তাদের উত্খাত করব না|”
KJV : Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
YLT : and I do not add to cause the foot of Israel to move from the ground that I gave to their fathers, only, if they observe to do according to all that I commanded them, and to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.`

ERVEN : I will not cause the Israelites to leave the land that I gave to their ancestors. I will let the people stay in their land if they obey everything I commanded them and all the teachings that my servant Moses gave them."

BNV : কিন্তু লোকরা ঈশ্বরের কথা গ্রাহ্য করল না| মনঃশি লোকদের বিপথে চালনা করলেন, যাতে তারা আরো বেশী পাপ কাজ করল সেই সব জাতিসমূহের চেয়েও, যাদের প্রভু ধ্বংস করেছিলেন এবং ইস্রায়েলীয়দের দিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
YLT : And they have not hearkened, and Manasseh causeth them to err, to do the evil thing above the nations that Jehovah destroyed from the presence of the sons of Israel.
RV : But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than did the nations, whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
RSV : But they did not listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations had done whom the LORD destroyed before the people of Israel.

BNV : “যিহূদার রাজা মনঃশি, ইমোরীযদের থেকেও বহুগুণে ঘৃণ্য অপরাধ করেছে এবং মূর্ত্তিপূজা করে যিহূদাকেও পাপের পথে ঠেলে দিয়েছে| তাই
KJV : Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, [and] hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which [were] before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
YLT : `Because that Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations -- he hath done evil above all that the Amorites have done who [are] before him, and causeth also Judah to sin by his idols;
RV : Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
RSV : "Because Manasseh king of Judah has committed these abominations, and has done things more wicked than all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols;

ESV : "Because Manasseh king of Judah has committed these abominations and has done things more evil than all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols,
ERVEN : "King Manasseh of Judah has done these hated things and has done more evil than the Amorites before him. He also has caused Judah to sin because of his idols.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের প্রভু বলেছেন, ‘জেরুশালেম ও যিহূদায় আমি এমন সঙ্কট ঘনিয়ে তুলব য়ে, য়ে শুনবে সেই শিউরে উঠবে, আতঙ্কিত হবে|
KJV : Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
YLT : therefore thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, Lo, I am bringing in evil on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever heareth of it, tingle do his two ears.
RV : therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I bring such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

ERVEN : So the Lord, the God of Israel, says, 'Look! I will bring so much trouble against Jerusalem and Judah that anyone who hears about it will be shocked.

BNV : আমি জেরুশালেমের ওপর শমরিয়াতে য়ে সূত্র এবং আহাবকুলে য়ে ওলন ব্যবহার করেছিলাম, তা বিস্তৃত করব| মানুষ য়ে ভাবে থালা মুছে, উপুড় করে রাখে ঠিক সে ভাবেই আমি জেরুশালেমের সব কিছু ওলট-পালট করে খল নলচে পালেট দেব|
KJV : And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as [a man] wipeth a dish, wiping [it,] and turning [it] upside down.
YLT : And I have stretched out over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and wiped Jerusalem as one wipeth the dish -- he hath wiped, and hath turned [it] on its face.
RV : And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

ERVEN : I will stretch the measuring line of Samaria and the plumb line of Ahab's family over Jerusalem. A man wipes a dish, and then he turns it upside down. I will do that to Jerusalem.

BNV : তবে আমার কিছু ভক্ত থাকবে, যাদের আমি রেহাই দিলেও, শএুর হাত থেকে তারা বাঁচতে পারবে না| শএুরা তাদের বন্দী করে সঙ্গে নিয়ে যাবে| তারা য়ে রকম মূল্যবান জিনিসের মতো যাকে সৈন্যরা যুদ্ধে পেয়ে থাকে|
KJV : And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
YLT : `And I have left the remnant of Mine inheritance, and given them into the hand of their enemies, and they have been for a prey and for a spoil to all their enemies,
RV : And I will cast off the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

ERVEN : There will still be a few of my people left, but I will leave them. I will give them to their enemies. Their enemies will take them prisoners— they will be like the valuable things soldiers take in war.

BNV : কারণ য়ে সব কাজ করাকে আমি অন্যায বলেছিলাম ওরা তাই করেছে| মিশর থেকে ওদের পূর্বপুরুষরা আসার পর থেকে এই ভাবে এমে এমে ওরা আমায় ক্ষেপিযে তুলেছে|
KJV : Because they have done [that which was] evil in my sight,and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
YLT : because that they have done the evil thing in Mine eyes, and are provoking Me to anger from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt, even unto this day.`

BNV : আর মনঃশি বহু নির্দোষ ব্যক্তিকেও হত্যা করেছে| মনঃশি জেরুশালেম রক্তে পরিপূর্ণ করেছে| তার এই সমস্ত পাপ, পক্ষান্তরে যিহূদারই পাপের ভার বৃদ্ধি করেছে| প্রভু যা করতে বারণ করেছেন, মনঃশি তা করতে যিহূদাকে বাধ্য করেছে|”‘
KJV : Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.
YLT : And also, innocent blood hath Manasseh shed very much, till that he hath filled Jerusalem -- mouth to mouth; apart from his sin that he hath caused Judah to sin, to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah.
RV : Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD,

BNV : মনঃশি য়ে সমস্ত কাজ করেছিলেন, এমন কি তাঁর সমস্ত পাপাচরণের কথাও ‘যিহূদার রাজাদের ইতিহাস’ গ্রন্থে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে|
KJV : Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
YLT : And the rest of the matters of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

BNV : মনঃশির মৃত্যুর পর তাঁকে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে তাঁর বাড়ীর “বাগান উষে” সমাধিস্থ করা হল এবং তাঁর পুত্র আমোন নতুন রাজা হলেন|

ERVEN : Manasseh died and was buried with his ancestors. He was buried in the garden at his house. It was called the "Garden of Uzza." His son Amon became the new king after him.

BNV : পিতা মনঃশির মতোই আমোনও প্রভুর মনঃপূত নয় এমন সমস্ত কাজকর্ম করেছিলেন|
KJV : And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
